Our trip begins in the rolling hills of Chianti. Our home base will be the villa at Borgo Castelvecchi, a thriving vineyard and farm that was once a medieval village. There you will enjoy a tasting of the incredible wines from their historic cellar, a spectacular farm-to-table welcome dinner, an unforgettable cooking class, time by the pool, and conversations with the warm and welcoming staff. Day trips to Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, San Gimignano, and Siena open up Tuscany's rich history and unparalleled art scene. Karey, Jack, and Federica, our local art guide, will provide unique insights into the region's heritage as you visit landmarks, art galleries, and discover hidden artistic treasures. Watie White will introduce a drawing and watercolor lesson on location, allowing you to immerse yourself in the artistic process while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, participating in this workshop will undoubtedly expand your skills and inspire your creative journey.
